Tom McCulley was appointed as CEO of Crop Nutrients on 1 January 2022. Prior to this role, Tom has served as CEO of Anglo American in Peru since 2018 and Group Head of Projects for Anglo American since he joined the company in 2015. Tom brings more than 25 years of international experience in major projects across the mining, oil and gas industries, and has led the development of Anglo American’s Quellaveco copper project in Peru.
Prior to joining Anglo American, he held several senior global roles at Newmont, including Vice President of Investment and Value Management and Vice President of Discovery and Development Planning and Services.
Tom began his career at Fluor Corporation in international oil and gas and mining projects, developing his full project lifecycle expertise. He was appointed to Anglo American's Executive Leadership Team (ELT) on October 1, 2022.
Rachel has 17 years’ experience as a qualified solicitor specialising as a projects and infrastructure lawyer in private practice and in industry.
She trained at a leading international law firm before moving to a competitor firm to specialise in projects work before moving into industry in 2009, working for the investments division of a major contractor specialising in infrastructure projects.
Rachel joined the Woodsmith Project in 2016 as Senior Legal Counsel, working across a wide range of legal issues with a particular focus on construction and engineering contracts and project related legal issues, including land, permitting and safety matters before leading the Crop Nutrients legal support function from 2020.
Since August 2024, Rachel has led the Crop Nutrients Corporate Affairs, Land and Permitting functions.
Jackie has been with the Woodsmith Project since 2012 in senior financial leadership roles. She was appointed as Chief Finance Officer, Crop Nutrients in July 2021.
Born and bred in Yorkshire, Jackie brings with her a wealth of experience, having served eight years in finance, project and supply chain roles with Smith & Nephew – a multinational medical equipment manufacturing company.
Jackie is a fellow of the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), has a Masters in Business Administration majoring in International Business Strategy, and also holds a diploma from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development.
Mike joined the Woodsmith Project in 2012 and has played a significant role in the corporate finance and business development activities of the business. More recently he led the integration and change programme for Crop Nutrients within Anglo American. Prior to his involvement with the Woodsmith Project he held several roles within strategy and business development for Diageo plc.
Mike is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, having qualified with PwC in 2007, and holds a joint MA in Natural Sciences and Management Studies from the University of Cambridge.
Keri joined the Crop Nutrients business in September 2020, working with the Solutions and Marketing team to align the people strategy to the regional market development goals and transforming the culture, before moving across to the Project and Support Functions to assist leading organisational change.
Having 17 years international HR experience, she joined Anglo American from the international oil and gas industry, most recently in the roles of Group Head of HR for an EPCM and oil and gas support services company, based in Qatar and prior to that Regional Head of HR, EMEA & APAC, for a global drilling company, based in Dubai.
Keri has Bachelors degrees in Music and Information Systems & Management and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel Development.
Andrew has 17 years’ mining related experience, joining Anglo American in 2013 before taking up his role at Crop Nutrients in April 2023. Andrew was previously Project Director for Anglo American’s Quellaveco Project in Peru, where he oversaw the final stages of construction, pre-commissioning, turnover and close-out. Prior to that, he spent three years as Senior Project Manager accountable for the construction of Quellaveco’s freshwater infrastructure. Andrew also previously held a number of roles across Corporate Finance and Group Business Development. He has an MSc in Metals and Energy Finance, is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst.
