Our Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship is an exciting, multi-skilled course that combines studying for a nationally recognised qualification whilst gaining relevant, paid, hands-on experience prepare candidates for a career in mining operations.
The programme focuses on developing a sound knowledge of electrical, mechanical and instrumentation principles and then putting those into practice.
The four-year course sees apprentices spending their first two years developing their knowledge at Middlesbrough College in their state-of-the-art training facilities, before completing the last two years of the course on sites across the Woodsmith Project, focusing on a specific discipline.
